| This is a great additional to any Dell managed network switch. This requires an RS232 port from a controller be hooked up to the back of the switch. This driver give you the following features on the Dell 35xx, 54xx and 62xx switches: - Completely program the network switch for Control4 network operations
- Give you a reference page to what items are plugged into what port for any diagnostics etc(Reduces paperwork)
- Parental Controls- Lets you turn off/on ports network connection right in programming. Disable a kids computer during the day etc etc. This can be done under a variety of areas under programming. 4Store app coming soon to let the home owner control this function right from a touch screen.
- Power Cycle the switch incase its needed
In addition if you have a POE switch you will gain these additional features Additional features for Dell 35xxP and 62xxP switches: - Power cycle(Reset) any port individually (great for touch screens, APs, IP cameras etc. Anything POE)
- Turn off/on power to a port individually. Great for party mode and disabling touch screens or saving power when out of town etc
This is sold on a per project and per switch basis. The Control4 Director mac address as well as the Dell SVC Tag is required to make this driver active.
